On 19 August 2008 Aberdeen Asian Income Fund Ltd bought back 250,000 ordinary shares for cancellation at a price of 103.5 pence per share. Following the buy back, there are 108,530,000 ordinary shares in issue. The share buy-back will be financed out of the capital reserve.
