Director Declaration

John Wood Group PLC

As previously announced, Mike Straughen will join the Group Board with effect
from 1 May 2007.

In accordance with paragraph 9.6.13 (1) of the Listing Rules, Mike Straughen
has advised that, during the past five years, he has not been appointed as a
director in any other publicly listed company.

Mike Straughen confirms that there are no other details which require to be
disclosed under the Listing Rules LR 9.6.13 R (2) to (6).

Mike Straughen does not have any interest in the shares of Wood Group.
