The estimated un-audited net asset value, calculated in accordance with the
guidelines of the Association of Investment Companies, for Finsbury Growth &
Income Trust PLC at the close of business on 24 February 2009 was 171.23p (ex
income) 173.63p (cum income).

Fully Diluted

The estimated un-audited net asset value, assuming the reissue of all of the
2,428,750 shares currently held in treasury, at the closing mid-market share
price on 24 February 2009 was 170.83p(ex income) 173.12p (cum income).
