Capita to deliver training for Army Collective Training System contract as part of Omnia Training consortium

Capita plc (“Capita”) today announces that it will help deliver training services for the British Army’s Collective Training System (ACTS), as part of the Omnia Training consortium led by Raytheon UK. Raytheon is an RTX business.

The consortium, comprising Raytheon UK, Capita, Cervus, Rheinmetall UK and Skyral, will deliver the ACTS in partnership with the British Army.

Capita’s role will include strategic training needs analysis, training scheduling and management, and monitoring and evaluation of training effectiveness. The contract, which runs for 15 years, has an overall value of £2 billion, with £54 million expected to be allocated to Capita over the life of the contract.
   
Damian Riley, Capita’s Managing Director responsible for ACTS, said: “Being selected to deliver training as part of the Omnia Training consortium reflects Capita’s proven capability in military training transformation. Drawing on our experience supporting the UK armed forces, including through the Royal Navy training programme and Army Adventurous Training, we look forward to working with the British Army to help evolve collective training and ensure readiness for future operational demands.”
