AB “Ignitis grupė“ (hereinafter – the Group) informs that on 27 August 2026, National Energy Regulatory Council (hereinafter – NERC) passed a resolution (link), extending the regulation of manual frequency restoration reserve (hereinafter – mFRR) services provided by Kruonis PSHP and Kaunas HPP of AB “Ignitis gamyba“ until 31 December 2026.

Although the extension of the regulation will have a negative impact on the Group’s results, the estimated effect will be significantly lower than in 2025, taking into account the normalization of the balancing market.

The information disclosed in this announcement has no impact on the Group’s Adjusted EBITDA guidance for 2026. The guidance range remains unchanged at EUR 550–600 million.

It should be noted that the regulation of mFRR services was introduced on 30 April 2025 (link) and remained effective until 31 December 2025.
