Circumstances giving rise to the notifications

In 2014, Torquil Sligo-Young (Information Resources Director) was granted an option over 1,071 A ordinary shares of 12.5p each in the Companyâ€™s capital pursuant to the Young & Co.â€™s Brewery, P.L.C. Savings-Related Share Option Scheme (the â€œ Scheme â€). The option price is 840p per share. The option has been exercised in full today.

Torquil has today gifted 1,071 A ordinary shares to his spouse, Rachel Sligo-Young (a person closely associated with him). He has also sold 1,262 A ordinary shares of 12.5p each in the Companyâ€™s capital (which were held in a nominee account) at 1370p per share.

As a result, the Company today received the notifications set out below.
