APPOINTMENT OF GROUP MANAGING DIRECTOR

The Board of Bovis Homes Group PLC is pleased to announce its decision to
appoint Mr David Ritchie, the Group Finance Director, to the newly created
position of Group Managing Director. Mr Ritchie will remain in his current
position until the Board has appointed his successor. A further announcement
