Petrofac Limited, traded as PFC on the London Stock Exchange (LSE), is an international energy services company.

Founded in 1981 as a producer of a modular plant in Tyler, Texas, United States, it has grown into a leading provider of infrastructure solutions to the oil & gas production and processing sector.

The company was first listed on the LSE in 2005. Petrofac designs, builds, manages, and maintains oil, gas, refining, petrochemicals, and renewable energy infrastructure, and trains the people who support them. It operates in a range of markets from design to decommissioning.

Today, it has 7,950 employees across more than 30 offices globally. Over the years, Petrofac has made several acquisitions and partnerships, extending its reach and capabilities. Despite facing challenges, including a fine for failing to prevent bribery in the Middle East, Petrofac continues to be a significant player in the energy industry.
