ITV Plc, traded as ITV on the London Stock Exchange (LSE), is a British media company that holds 13 of the 15 regional television licenses that make up the ITV network. Founded on February 2, 2004¹, it is the result of Granada purchasing Carlton following various mergers and acquisitions. ITV Plc, headquartered in London, has a rich history dating back to the establishment of the ITV network in 1955. Today, it is the oldest and largest commercial terrestrial television network in the UK. ITV plc is divided into two divisions:
