Zotefoams PLC 13 October 2006 13 October 2006 Zotefoams plc ('Zotefoams' or the 'Company') Directorate Change Zotefoams, the world's leading manufacturer of cross-linked polyolefin block foam, announces that Bill Fairservice, the Company's Chairman, is retiring from the Board of Zotefoams with effect from 31 December 2006. Bill led the MBO of Zotefoams Limited from BP Chemicals in 1992 and subsequently became Managing Director of the Company. He was appointed Chairman in 1999. Bill will be replaced as Chairman by Nigel Howard, who joined the Board in January of this year. Nigel spent over 36 years with Morgan Crucible, the specialist engineering company that develops and supplies a broad range of products made from carbon and ceramic materials. Nigel held a number of roles including Interim Chief Executive and was a board member for 13 years, retiring in December 2003. He is also a Non-executive Director of Alliance One International Inc which is listed on the New York Stock Exchange. The Company intends to recruit a further independent Non-executive Director.
