Zoo Digital Group PLC 04 July 2005 For immediate release 4 July 2005 ZOO Digital Group plc ('ZOO Digital' or 'the Company') Holding in Company The Board of ZOO Digital announces that it received notification on 30 June 2005 from Herald Investment Trust plc ('HIT') that HIT had purchased 2,900,000 ordinary shares of 0.2p each in the Company as part of the recent placing of new ordinary shares announced on 25 May 2005. Following this purchase of shares, HIT is interested in 22,900,000 ordinary shares of 0.2p each in the Company representing 7.22% of the current issued share capital of the Company. The shares are held under BNY (OCS) Nominees Limited. Six-monthly Block Listing Application Update On 22 December 2004, the Company applied for block admission of 18,544,746 ordinary shares of 0.2p each ('New Ordinary Shares') to be admitted to the AIM market of the London Stock Exchange under three separate Company Share Option Schemes, with admission becoming effective on 30 December 2004. The Company can confirm that during the six month period to 29 June 2005 a total of 430,000 New Ordinary Shares were issued under the ZOO Digital Group plc Enterprise Management Incentive Scheme. Furthermore, options over 83,750 ordinary shares under this scheme have now lapsed.
