                TEN ALPS COMMUNICATIONS PLC WINS SONY AWARDS GOLD


Ten Alps Communications PLC, the AIM listed media group, announces that at the
Sony Awards in London at the Grosvenor House Hotel last night, its radio
production company won Gold in the News Story Award category.


The award was for live coverage of Saddam Hussein's capture, hosted by Jeremy
Bowen. The programme was a co-production with BBC Radio 5 Live.


'Having been nominated four times in four years for Sony awards, our radio news
production team have now happily won. It's vital to develop our editorial
credentials and BBC relationships in serious radio production along with our
continued expansion as a force in factual TV. The two activities clearly
complement each other,' said Brian Walden, Chairman of Ten Alps Communications
PLC.


Ten Alps has been an independent provider of radio programmes for both the BBC
and the commercial broadcasters since 1999.


Meanwhile, Alex Connock CEO of Ten Alps Communications plc is shortlisted in the
London's Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year awards, to be held in June.
