Ten Alps Communications Plc: Contract Signings
Ten Alps Communications, the AiM-listed media group ('Ten Alps') announces
signature by its production companies of contracts for two Bob Geldof-hosted
TV projects and a number of radio projects.
The total budget for the projects mentioned is above £1.6m.
Geldof re-visits Africa (BBC 1)
Documentary specialist Brook Lapping has gone into production with a major
six-part series for BBC1 in which Geldof re-visits Africa, scheduled for
broadcast in 2005.
Geldof - Laws concerning Fathers and Divorce (Channel 4)
Through its factual production company 3BM TV, Ten Alps is also making a
two-part series for Channel 4 in which Geldof explores existing laws concerning
fathers and divorce.
Geldof is a co-founder and non-executive director of Ten Alps.
Renewal of Radio 5 Live
Ten Alps Radio has renewed its contract to co-produce with BBC News the BBC
Radio 5 Live Sunday morning current affairs programme, Julian Worricker.
Radio 2
There is another series of Arthur Smith Lectures, and a documentary on Band Aid.
