Statement regarding media speculation

YouGov, the international research and data analytics group, notes the recent press speculation regarding a potential acquisition of GfK SE's European consumer panel business and confirms that it is in advanced stages of discussions and is considering an equity issue¹ to partly fund the acquisition.

There can be no certainty that a transaction will take place nor as to the terms on which any transaction may occur. A further announcement will be made in due course, if appropriate.

This announcement contains inside information for the purposes of the market abuse regulation (EU No. 596/2014) as it forms part of United Kingdom domestic law by virtue of the European Union (Withdrawal) Act 2018, as amended.
