PRELIMINARY RESULTS ANNOUNCEMENT DATE


Xaar plc (XAR), the inkjet printing technology group headquartered in Cambridge,
will be announcing its preliminary results for the year ended 31 December 2005
on Tuesday 14 March 2006.


A press briefing will be held at 11.00 am on that day at Bankside Consultants, 1
Frederick's Place, London EC2R 8AE.


A lunch briefing for analysts will be held at 12.30 pm at the offices of Panmure
Gordon, 155 Moorgate, London, EC2M 6XB.
