Further to the announcement released on 14 November 2006, Xaar plc (the
'Company') announces that on 20 November 2006, it received notification pursuant
to Section 212 of the Companies Act 1985 (the 'Act') that Danaher Corporation is
beneficially interested for the purposes of the Act in 1,750,000 ordinary shares
of the Company, representing 2.84 per cent. of the current issued ordinary share
capital of the Company, and that these shares were purchased by Danaher prior to
14 November 2006 at prices not exceeding 171.5 pence per ordinary share.
