Trust PLC, informing them that following a purchase of 250,000 shares (0.42% of
issued share capital) on 9 January 2003, they have a notifiable interest in
3,695,531 ordinary shares, representing 6.19% of the issued share capital of the
Company. The shares are registered in the name of HSBC Global Custody Nominees
(UK) Limited A/C 811664.
