Xaar plc (the 'Company')

The Company was informed on 28 November 2008 that Ramon Borrell, a Director in the Company, acquired 6,000 Xaar shares of 10p each in the Company ('Ordinary Shares'), representing 0.01 per cent of the issued share capital in the Company at an average price of 50 pence per share on 27 November 2008.  

In addition, the Company was informed on 1 December 2008 that Mr Borrell acquired 33,768 shares of 10p each in the Company ('Ordinary Shares'), representing 0.05 per cent of the issued share capital in the Company at an average price of 50 pence per share on 1 December 2008.  

Following these acquisitions of Ordinary Shares Mr Borrell has an interest in a total of 69,788 Ordinary Shares equalling approximately 0.11 per cent of the issued share capital in the Company.
