NOTIFICATION OF TRANSACTIONS OF DIRECTORS, PERSONS DISCHARGING MANAGERIAL
RESPONSIBILITY OR CONNECTED PERSONS

The Company received a notification from Barclays Private Bank & Trust Limited
as trustees of the Xaar Plc Employee Benefit Trust informing it that the
trustees purchased 100,000 ordinary shares on 1 June 2007 at 236.5p per share.

The Trustees total interest is currently 1,617,004 shares representing 2.6% of
the Company's issued ordinary share capital. The announcement is made due to the
potential interest of the Directors and persons discharging managerial
responsibility.
