                    Wynnstay Properties PLC ('The Company')
                     Resignation of Non-Executive Director

The Board of Wynnstay Properties PLC has been advised by Mr. Ian Lockhart that,
due to serious ill health, he has resigned as a director of the Company as of 25
March 2006.

Mr. Lockhart joined the Board in 1972 and was appointed Senior Independent
Non-Executive Director in 2004. Mr. Terence Nagle, who has been a Non -
Executive Director since 1998, has agreed to take up this position.

Philip Collins, Chairman, commented:-

'Ian will be greatly missed at Wynnstay, both from a business perspective and on
a personal level. I am most grateful to him for his wise counsel over many years
and we are very sorry to lose him.'
