The Board of Worthington Group plc is pleased to announce the appointments of Mr
Tim Roberts FCA as Finance Director and Mr John Smith, Managing Director of
Worthington Manufacturing Limited, a subsidiary of the Group, as Executive
Director.

The appointments were made at a meeting of the Board of Directors on 21 November
2002 and are effective immediately.
