Second Worldlink Commercial Sports Betting Site Goes Live

Whyteleafe Football Club in Surrey to Benefit

Worldlink Group PLC (LSE: WGP), the listed company with patented technology covering the transmission and receiving of change data on all mobile devices, announce today that Whyteleafe Football Club has become the second club to take advantage of the Worldlink/Betbutler collaboration to offer a share revenue of bets placed through the Worldlink/Betbutler service on all sports betting. Initially this service will be available through desk-top units but will be upgraded to work through all mobile devices in early April.

The first Club to take this service was Ramsgate FC who have already seen useful revenues flowing into the Club since the service was offered in February

Whyteleafe FC competes in Division 1 South of the Ryman Football League. It is a genuinely local football club serving the communities of Whyteleafe, Caterham, Warlingham, Kenley and across east Surrey.  As such it draws its support base from the local area.

Mark Coote Chairman of Whyteleafe FC commented: "Playing in one of the most attractive grounds in non-league football, and with some of the friendliest supporters, it's always worth paying the 'Leafe a visit.  Although we get tremendous support from the locality we are always looking for additional ways to generate revenues and this link with Worldlink and Betbutler will generate some additional revenues without increasing any demand on our supporters.  Those who bet regularly can give a lot back to the club by using the service that will go live on our website.  Even those who will have the occasional flutter on the Grand National will also be helping the club significantly by using the Whyteleafe/Worldlink/Betbutler service.  The beauty of what is being offered is that we know we are ensuring those who support us get the very best odds for their bet so benefits are available for all parties.

Neil Riches, Managing Director of Worldlink added:  "The pilot study at Ramsgate has worked well on the pc based model and we are now about to go live at Ramsgate with the mobile version which should make the sports betting service through Ramsgate FC more available.  Ramsgate FC have undertaken a marketing campaign to make supporters aware of the service and they have already received useful revenue from the PC-based service.  Importantly for Worldlink, the first revenues for the company are also being generated and although it is early days it is clear that the Club/Worldlink shared revenuemodel will prove very successful for all parties."
