Workspace Group plc (the 'Company')

The Company received a notification on 28 June 2004 from the Church
Commissioners for England, informing it that following a recent sale of 86,000
ordinary shares, the Church Commissioners for England are now the beneficial
owners of 478,150 ordinary shares representing 2.86% of the issued ordinary
share capital of the Company.

The Commissioners therefore no longer hold a notifiable interest in the Company
