                     WORKSPACE APPOINTS COMPANY SECRETARY


Workspace Group PLC, ('Workspace') the leading provider of flexible
accommodation to small and medium sized enterprises ('SMEs') has today
announced the appointment of Iain MacDonald as Company Secretary and Legal
Counsel.

Iain, 35, was previously Company Secretary and Legal Counsel at Reliance
Security Group plc, the quoted security company, which he joined in October
1999. Prior to this, Iain practised as a solicitor in Scotland for six years
before moving into industry with Burberry Limited as Assistant Company
Secretary where he qualified in English Law and completed an MBA.

' I am sure that Iain will be an integral part of the Workspace team. As the
Company grows, we are putting in place a structure to reflect the future scale
of the Group.'
