Workspace Group PLC

Application has been made to the UK Listing Authority and to the London Stock
Exchange for the admission of 228,000 Ordinary Shares of 10p each.

These shares, ranking pari passu in all respects with the existing ordinary
shares in issue, will be issued following the conversion of the 11%
Convertible Loan Stock 2011.

It is expected that admission and dealings will become effective in the
Ordinary Shares on 13th August 2001.
