Wood Group (John) PLC 14 September 2004 14 September 2004 WOOD GROUP ENGINEERING (NORTH SEA) RE-AWARDED SHELL CONTRACT Wood Group Engineering (North Sea) Ltd, part of John Wood Group PLC ('Wood Group'), has been reappointed by Shell U.K. Limited (Shell) to provide engineering design, maintenance, support and construction services (EMSC) to its onshore assets at St Fergus Gas Plant, Fife FNGL Plant at Mossmorran, Fife Braefoot Bay Terminal plus offshore support for the Goldeneye platform. The 3 facilities process Natural Gas Liquids coming from offshore facilities into higher value components such as Methane and Ethane. The contract, worth approximately £25million over two years, will secure employment for around 200 Wood Group employees at Shell's three onshore sites and in Aberdeen. Les Thomas, Group Director responsible for Production Facilities said, 'Wood Group is delighted to have been re-awarded this significant onshore contract.
