Annual General Meeting held on Tuesday 10 MAY 2011

Witan Investment Trust plc ('the Company') hereby gives notification that, at the Annual General Meeting of the Company held on Tuesday 10 May 2011, all the resolutions, as set out in full in the notice of meeting dated 30 March 2011, were duly passed.  Two of the resolutions were special resolutions, one of which gave authority to the Company to make market purchases of its own ordinary shares up to a maximum of 29,018,991 ordinary shares (being 14.99% of the ordinary shares in issue at 10 May 2011).

Mr Rory McGrath retired as Director of the Company at the conclusion of the Annual General Meeting.
