Witan Investment Trust plc ('the Company') hereby gives notification that, at
the Annual General Meeting of the Company held on Monday 28 April 2008, all the
resolutions, as set out in full in the notice of meeting dated 6 March 2008,
were duly passed.  Three of the resolutions were special resolutions, one of
which gave authority to the Company to make market purchases of its own ordinary
shares up to a maximum of 32,822,981 ordinary shares (being 14.99% of the
ordinary shares in issue at 28 April 2008).
