Witan Investment Trust plc hereby gives notification that, at the Annual General
Meeting of the Company held on Monday 29 March 2004, all the resolutions, as set
out in full in the notice of meeting dated 4 February 2004, were duly passed.
One of the resolutions gave authority to the Company to make market purchases of
up to 50,893,761 ordinary shares (being 14.99% of the ordinary shares in issue
at 29 March 2004).
