Appointment of new Chief Executive Officer

Witan Investment Trust plc announces that Mr Andrew L C Bell will be appointed Chief Executive Officer, with effect from a date to be agreed.  He will join the Board from the date of his appointment.  

Andrew Bell is currently Head of Research and Strategy at Rensburg Sheppards in London.  He is a non-executive director of Framlington Innovative Growth Trust plc and a non-executive director of Henderson High Income Trust plc. He is also a director of the Association of Investment Companies and a governor of Bedford School.  

There is no further information to be disclosed under Listing Rule 9.6.13 R in respect of Mr Bell.
