                        HISTORICAL SEGMENTAL INFORMATION


As indicated in the pre-close period statement, Wilmington will report its
results by market sector which better reflect how the business is managed rather
than by the three divisions it formerly comprised. In advance of the preliminary
announcement of results for the year ended 30 June 2004 which is due to be made
on 16 September 2004 Wilmington presents below the unaudited segmental
information relating to its market sectors for the years ended 30 June 2001,
2002 and 2003 and for the six months ended 31 December 2003.
