In accordance with DTR 3.1.2, Wilmington Group plc announces that Mark Asplin, a Non-Executive Director, on 6 November 2008 purchased 20,000 ordinary shares in the Company at 142p through his self-invested pension fund. His resultant holding of ordinary shares is 41,390 which is 0.05% of the issued share capital with voting rights.
