Meeting of holders of Irredeemable Unsecured Loan Stock
Resolution passed
Whitbread PLC announces that at today's meeting of holders of its £1,264,449
5 3/4 per cent. Irredeemable Unsecured Loan Stock ('Stock') the resolution
proposing the early repayment of the entire issue was duly passed. Therefore,
all of the outstanding Stock shall be repaid on 31 January 2001.
