DIRECTOR/PDMR SHAREHOLDING &
GRANT OF LONG-TERM COMPENSATION TO EMPLOYEES

 

Wheaton Precious Metals Corp. ("Wheaton") makes the following announcement regarding its persons discharging managerial responsibilities.  The Company has issued 45,675 common shares of no par value pursuant to the exercise by eligible employees of vested long-term incentive plan grants (together, the "Shares"). All of the Shares are quoted on the Toronto Stock Exchange and the New York Stock Exchange and, in London, an application for admission of these Shares to the Official List (Standard Segment) of the Financial Conduct Authority and to trading on the Main Market of the London Stock Exchange will be made as soon as possible with a further announcement to be made in due course once the application is submitted.

Further to the announcement dated 17 March, in addition to the awards granted to PDMRs, Wheaton has granted 47,380 restricted share units ("RSU") pursuant to its Restricted Share Plan, 90,420 performance share units ("PSU") pursuant to its Performance Share Unit Plan and 199,350 stock options to employees who are not PDMRs. The RSUs have been granted with restricted periods that will expire as to one-third on each of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd anniversary of the grant date. The PSUs have been granted with a performance period from March 15, 2022 to March 14, 2025. The stock options have been granted with a seven-year term and a vesting schedule of one-third on each of the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd anniversary of the grant date.
