Notification of change to Board

WH Smith PLC announces that Henry Staunton, Non-Executive Director, was appointed as Senior Independent Director with effect from 1 August 2012. 

Henry Staunton has been a Non-Executive Director of WH Smith PLC since September 2010.  His appointment as Senior Independent Director follows the resignation of Jeff Harris from the Board.
