Board change at WHSmith

WHSmith PLC announced today (14 April) that Finance Director, Keith
Hamill, will leave the Company and the main Board on 31 May to seek
other opportunities.

He, together with Richard Handover, will present the Company's interim
results on Tuesday 18 April.

Chief Executive, Richard Handover, said:  'I would like to thank Keith
for the enormous contribution he has made over the last four years.
The current good financial health of the Company bears testament to
his contribution.  All of us wish him good luck for the future.'
