JD Wetherspoon have today been advised that on 3rd March 2004 Mr Brian Jervis a
Non Executive Director, sold 2,300 J D Wetherspoon shares at a price of 284.18p
per share and then Mrs Jervis purchased 2,300 shares at a price of 284.8p per
share.

These shares will be placed in a Natwest ISA Account.

Following this transaction Mr Jervis holding of 34,549 shares remains unchanged.
