Mr John Hutson, Managing Director of JD Wetherspoon plc, today transferred
60,000 ordinary shares to Mrs Nienke Helene Charlotte Hutson (his wife).

Mr John Hutson today sold 9,000 shares at a price of 388p per share, to bring
his shareholding to 55,552 ordinary shares.

Mrs Nienke Helen Charlotte Hutson today sold 75,000 shares at a price of 388p
per share, bringing her shareholding to 1,016 ordinary shares.
