The Company announces that Tim Martin, Chairman of JD Wetherspoon plc, purchased
325,000 ordinary shares in the Company at 300.766p per share on 10 January 2008.


Following this transaction, Mr Martin now holds an interest in 33,209,934
ordinary shares in the Company, representing approximately 23.46% of the
Company's issued share capital.
