                               Change of Director


Suzanne Baker, Commercial Director, has left Wetherspoon with immediate effect.
Suzanne worked at Wetherspoon for 13 years in a number of roles and was
appointed to the Board in 1997.  Her direct reporting responsibilities will be
re-allocated within the existing management team.


John Hutson, Chief Executive, said:

'I would like to thank Suzanne for all her efforts over the years she has worked
at Wetherspoon. We wish her well for the future.'
