Westminster Group Plc ('Westminster' or 'the Company'), the AIM listed supplier
of system solutions and products to the security, defence, fire protection and
safety markets worldwide, announces that it was informed yesterday that Sir
Malcolm Ross, Non Executive Chairman of the Company, purchased 21,300 Ordinary
shares in the Company on 19th July 2007 at a price of 70.25p per Ordinary share.

Following this purchase, Sir Malcolm Ross has an interest in 21,300 Ordinary
shares in the Company representing 0.15% of the issued share capital.

The current issued share capital in the Company is 14,022,336 not 14,022,339 as
stated in the announcement of 19 July 2007.
