New Appointments to Group Executive

The  Weir Group PLC is pleased to announce the following two appointments to its
Group Executive from 1 July 2011.

Pauline  Lafferty  (45)  joins  as  Director  of  Human  Resources with specific
responsibility  for  recruitment  and  people  development.   She is currently a
partner  in the Miles Partnership, a  London based executive search business and
previously worked in the technology sector in business planning and supply chain
roles for Digital Equipment Corporation.

Gavin  Nicol (50)  who is  currently President  of Weir  SPM in  Fort Worth will
assume the role of Director of Operations Support and Development.

Both appointments are Glasgow based.

The  new President of Weir  SPM is Paul Coppinger,  formerly President of Circor
Energy,  a  major  supplier  of  integrated  flow  solutions  to the oil and gas
industry.
