                     Acquisition of SPM Flow Control, Inc.


Further to the announcement on 20 June 2007 of the Company's proposed
acquisition of SPM Flow Control, Inc. the Company announces that a circular
setting out further details of the proposed acquisition and containing notice of
an extraordinary general meeting of the Company to be held on 13 July 2007 has
been posted to the Company's shareholders.

A copy of the circular is available for inspection at the UK Listing Authority's
Document Viewing Facility at 25 The Colonnade, Canary Wharf, London, E14 5HS.
