Sale and Delivery of Trial Order of Domestic Reporter units to South West Water

Water Intelligence is a leading provider of smart water monitoring products and precision, non-invasive leak detection and remediation services. The Group's strategy is to be a "One-stop" solution provider for water utilities and commercial and residential customers, as the need to prevent water loss from leaks and to preserve a scarce natural resource is increasingly recognised in the UK, US and other markets around the world.

Water Intelligence announces that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Qonnectis Networks, has delivered a trial order of Domestic Reporter units to South West Water Ltd.

Domestic Reporter is a next generation wireless product designed to allow households to monitor water usage over the previous day, week or month and the projected cost of their annual water bill, based on the usage at that time. The device will enable the home owner to understand his own profile of water usage, as well as, alerting the home owner to a leak.  The product has been in development for eighteen months with the assistance of both South West Water and Thames Water.

South West Water will be deploying the trial units in the field shortly and monitoring customer feedback.

Mark Baker, Regional Supply Manager at South West Water commented:

"This is an exciting development, which we believe is a first in providing a low cost water use monitor for both internal and external meters, providing customers at a glance in their homes with details of their water use and cost. It will enable better control of water bills, encourage water efficiency and also help to minimise leakage".

Dr. Patrick DeSouza, Executive Chairman of Water Intelligence commented:

"We are pleased with the successful commercialisation of cutting-edge technology and the delivery of production-ready trial units.  We believe that Domestic Reporter's superior performance and low price point will make this an attractive offering to utilities who want to help their customers manage and monitor their consumption, bills, and receive early leak alerts.  We look forward to working with South West Water in field deployment and addressing customer feedback".
