Watches of Switzerland Group PLC ("the Group") today announces that Bill Floydd will be standing down from his role as Chief Financial Officer from 12 May 2023 by mutual agreement.

 

Effective from this date, Bill will be succeeded by Anders Romberg, who previously served as the Group's CFO for seven years from 2014 to 2021. Bill will remain available to support the transition and a handover of responsibilities until 31 October 2023.

 

Brian Duffy, CEO, said: "On behalf of the Board, I would like to thank Bill for his valuable contribution to the Group and we wish him well for the future. I am delighted that Anders is re-joining the business. He has a strong track record of financial leadership and thorough knowledge of our Group, as well as the specialist luxury watch and jewellery categories, and I look forward to working with him again."

Supplemental information

Anders Romberg's base salary (£380,000 per annum), maximum bonus (125% of base salary) and minimum annual performance share plan award (175% of base salary) are the same as his predecessor's and within the limits set out in the Group's Directors' Remuneration Policy, approved by shareholders. Anders has chosen to opt out of the 3% pension allowance.
