Walker, Crips, Weddle, Beck plc (the 'Company'), the integrated financial
services group, announces that further to the announcement of 20 July 2007, the
resolution relating to the Company's name change was duly passed at its
Extraordinary General Meeting ('EGM') held earlier today, 14 August 2007.


The name of the Company will duly be changed to Walker Crips Group plc with
immediate effect.
