                     Notification of Annual General Meeting

Walker, Crips, Weddle, Beck plc (the 'Company'), the integrated financial
services group, is holding its Annual General Meeting ('AGM') at 12.00 midday on
Friday, 20 July 2007 at Brewers' Hall, Aldermanbury Square, London EC2V 7HR.

On 7 June 2007 the Company announced a proposed sub-division of its share 
capital with each existing ordinary share of 20 pence each in the capital of the 
Company being divided into 3 new ordinary shares of 6 2/3 pence each. An 
ordinary resolution to effect this sub-division will be proposed at the AGM. 
Further details in connection with the proposed sub-division are contained in 
the notice of the AGM.

Copies of the notice of the AGM and of the Report and Accounts for the year
ended 31 March 2007 were posted to shareholders on 26 June 2007, and are
available on the Company's website: www.wcwb.co.uk.

In accordance with the Listing Rules, copies of these documents have been
submitted to the UK Listing Authority and will be available for viewing at its
