         Appointment of David Hetherton and Robert Elliott to the Board


Following upon the acquisition of G&E Investment Services Limited, parent of the
London York Group, which was completed upon the admission to trading of 800,000
new shares in Walker, Crips, Weddle, Beck plc ('WCWB') on 11th April 2005, it is
now announced that, in accordance with the terms of the acquisition, the
Directors of WCWB have appointed David Hetherton to be an executive director of
WCWB, and Robert Elliott to be a non-executive director.
