WH Ireland Group plc today announces that Mr. Roland Rudd will be resigning as a Non Executive Director from the Board with effect from 1 July 2009, due to other work commitments.  The Board wishes to express its gratitude and thanks to Roland for his contribution.  

Commenting on Mr. Rudd's decision, Mr. Richard Ford, CEO of WH Ireland, said 'We have been immensely fortunate to have had Roland's guidance and encouragement over the past year and we are delighted to have his continued support as a shareholder.'
