Vp PLC 15 August 2007 Press Release 15 August 2007 Vp plc ('Vp' or 'the Group') Interim Management Statement Vp plc, the equipment rental specialist, issues the following Interim Management Statement for the quarter ended 30 June 2007 in accordance with the new Disclosure and Transparency requirements of the UK Listing Authority. The current financial year has started strongly, with performance comfortably ahead of management expectations and prior year. Vp serves a diverse range of markets. The construction, civil engineering and housebuilding sectors in particular have experienced high levels of demand throughout the period, supported by remediation work and the water utility AMP4 investment programme. The Cool Customers business acquired for £1.0m on 18 April 2007 has integrated well into Hire Station's Climate Hire operation and is performing ahead of expectations at this early stage. We also announced the acquisition on 6 August 2007 of the business and assets of ET Hire Limited's tool hire operations in Scotland for a consideration of £1.1m.
